Mrs. Elizabeth Beatty, 60, of Caruthersville, died Dec. 21 at her home. She was born in Pemiscot County Oct. 6, 1923, the daughter of Less and Ada Wallace Moody. She attended school in Kinfolks Ridge. She was a member of the Wesleyan Church.
She is survived by her husband, Rev. Jesse J. Beatty of Caruthersville; One son, Ronald Beatty of Caruthersville; One daughter, Mrs. Brenda Hoyle of Cheraw, S.C.; Two brothers, Earl and Parker Moody, both of Caruthersville; Two sisters, Mrs. Clara Robinson and Mrs. Flora Greer, both of Caruthersville; And one grandson.
Services were Dec. 24 at 2 p.m. at the Wesleyan Church in Caruthersville, the Rev. Richard Williams officiating, with burial in Maple Cemetery, J.S. Smith Funeral Home in charge.
Pallbearers were Kenny Lee, Richard Fairey, Bob Henderson, Charles Dodson, Bruce Baird and Marvin Wade.
