Mrs. Sarah Ann Wilhelm, 83, widow of James A. Wilhelm, died at 5 p.m. Tuesday at her home near Andersonville. She had been in failing health the past year.
Mrs. Wilhelm was born in Franklin county, a daughter of George and Charlotte Goble Croddy. Her husband died in July, 1947.
Survivors are two sons, Cleo and George Wilhelm, near Andersonville; a daughter, Edna, at home; a sister, Mrs. Lizzie Alford of Laurel; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Rites will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Andersonville Christian Church with the Rev. C. M. Estes officiating. Burial will be in East Hill Cemetery, Rushville. Friends may call at the residence at any time.
