Paul "PJ", passed away in his sleep at home. He is survived by his loving wife, Trinah Lewing, and children, Kirbie Lewing, and Heather & Jeffery Briggs, as well as his Mother, Irma Dean Lewing, Brothers, James Cornwell & wife, Jo, David Cornwell, Rickey Cornwell & wife Amy, and Robert Cornwell, and a Sister, Lorrie Lewing LaCaze & husband Greg. He was preceded in death by his Father, Paul Neyron Lewing Sr. and is buried near him.

Services were held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 7, 2004 at the First Baptist Church in Vivian. Brother Gilbert Kendrick conducted the service with assistance from Brother Richard Beeman.
Pallbearers were; Jason Bauer, Les Boyter, Chris Cook, Craig Duke, Curtis Greene, Kerry Parker, and Brett Upchurch. Honorary Pallbearers are two of his closest friends that referred to P.J. as their brother, Jason Boyter and Norman Carter.

P.J. as he was lovingly known, will best be remembered for his love of hunting, fishing, and camping with friends.
