William Fitts was the father of Joel Poague Fitts born in 1878 in Wayne County, Tennessee. Joel Fitts was the father of Otis Fitts born in 1911 in Pontotoc County, Mississippi.
William, Joel and Otis Fitts are buried in Oak Forest Cemetery in Pontotoc County, Mississippi.
