Lorene Wilkey Blankenship, 94, of Calhoun died Wednesday, Oct. 30, 1996, at her home. She was born in Dixon, was a retired extension agent with the University of Kentucky and was a member of the Ogden Memorial United Methodist Church in Princeton, where she was a Sunday school teacher for more than 20 years. Her husband, Frank Edwin Blankenship, died in 1940.

Survivors include two sons, Bob Blankenship of Calhoun and Frank Blankenship of Navarre, Fla.; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a brother, Clovis Wilkey of Little Rock, Ark.

Services are at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Ogden Memorial United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Webster County. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and after 9 a.m. Saturday at the church. Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel is in charge of arrangements. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Ogden Memorial United Methodist Church, Sunday school fund. Memorial contribution envelopes are available at the funeral home.
