Martha M Kimzey was the daughter of David Steele Kimzey and Sarah Ann Woodide. She married Hugh R Darrough 5 Apr 1866 Perry Co, Il. They moved to Colorado about 1871 and on to Kansas about 1885.
Their children were Elza S, Alva Robinson, Ira Herbert.

Death of Mrs Darrough nee Martha M Kimsey
The Many friends of Mrs H R Darrough were shocked this forenoon to learn of the sudden and unexpected death of Mrs Darrough, which occurred at her home at north sixth street at 9:25 a.m.had been in poor health for sometime, but was not considered to be in poor health.
Last evening she ate a hearty supper and appeared to be feeling as we as usual. She soon complained of feeling distressed in her stomach and could not sleep. She was up the latter part of the night and about 3:00 she went to bedroom door and called her husband. Soon after she fell on the floor and groaned. Her husband put her on the couch and went for Doctor Young.
It proved to be a stroke and paralysis from which she partially rallied.but was unable to speak and death resulted at the above hour.
The deceased was forty six years of age, one of the eldest residents of our city.a consistant member of the U F Church and beloved by a large circle of friends.
Their sons Robert of Allegheny City, Pa, Elza of Loveland, Co have been telegraphed. The funeral time will be announce later
