There are twenty grandchildren.
One grandson, Private Lyle Weidner, who enlisted in the Marine Corps in January of 1942, was killed in action in the Southwest Pacific Area on October 1, 1943. Lyle was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Weidner, of North Judson, IN.
Mrs. Weidner passed away on Dec. 21, 1954 in North Judson, IN.
Services were held at the Gospel Meeting House on Friday, Dec. 24, 1954 at 1:30 p.m. for "Lizzie" Weidner.
Rev. James B. Gilbert officiated.
Interment was at the Winamac Cemetery.
