MARIE F. WOODMAN
Marie F. Woodman, 90, of South Bend, Ind., died April 4, 1997 at the Dridgewood Health Care and Rehabilitation Center in Elkhart, Ind., of natural causes.
Marie was born July 2, 1906 in Appanoose County. She married John H. Woodman July 18, 1935 in Wayne County.
Mrs. Woodman belonged to the Order of the Eastern Star, American Auxiliary, Civil War Daughters and the Women's Club, all of Chariton and was a school teacher in Iowa before retiring in 1958. She then worked with her husband at the family business, the Woodman Funeral Home in Russell, until his death in 1967.
Funeral services were held Monday, April 7, 1997 at 10:30 a.m. at the Fielding Funeral Home with burial in the Russell Cemetery.
