Felimon, a lifelong resident of Truchas, passed away at the Española Hospital. He was predeceased by his mother Carmelita Montoya. He was the biological son of José Dionicio Domínguez and the stepson of José Demecio Sandoval and then the stepson of Nicolas Romero.

Felimon was survived by his wife Anita of the home; three sons: Nick and Felimon Jr of Truchas, and Flaymon Sr. of Española; two daughters: Dora Nelson of Española and Esther Corlis of Las Vegas, Nevada; half-brothers: Filiberto Dominguez of Grants and Nestor Dominguez of Arizona; three half-sisters: Petra Romero of Truchas, Nellie Dominguez of Albuquerque, and Bertha Pacheco of Utah; 25 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many other relatives.

Felimon worked on the railroads in the early 1900s and later as a miner in Colorado. He was an enthusiastic Democrat.

Graveside services were held 25 Aug 1983 at the Catholic Cemetery in Los Llanitos. Pallbearers were Dean Sandoval, Curtis Sandoval, Dexter Sandoval, Peter Sandoval, Jerry Ortega, and Flaymon Sandoval Jr.
