Bertha Dominguez Pacheco, beloved mother, grandmother, Tia and friend, passed away Thursday, August 26, 1993 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

She was born in Truchas, New Mexico on October 8, 1923 to Dionicio Dominguez and Bonafacia Montoya Dominguez. She married Eli Pacheco in May 1943 in Chimayo, New Mexico. He preceded her in death on May 10, 1971.

Bertha was active in her church and community. She was a treasure to her family and friends. She retired from Kennecott Copper Corporation where she worked for 11 years. Her strength of character and dignity will be carried on by her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Peter A. (Clara) Pacheco, Patrick V. (JoAnne) Pacheco, Yolanda P. (Joe) Valdez, Joyce P. (Judge Andrew) Valdez, Ralph D. (Katherine) Pacheco; very special partner and friend, Manuel Garcia. Her grandchildren include Corrina, Nicole, Sophia, Lisa, Steven, Juliet, Eli, Monica, Tito, James II, Daniel, DeLoyd, Alicia, and great-grandson, Joey. "WE'LL MISS THE WORLD'S BEST GRANDMA!" Her brothers and sisters include, Petronila Romero, Midvale; Nellie Valdez, Filiberto Dominguez, Nestor Dominguez, all New Mexico. Special mention of beloved nieces and nephews, Ida (Nelson) Romero, Grace (John) Romero, Willie, Jr. (Marie) Romero, James (Elizabeth) Romero.

Funeral services and mass of the Christian Burial will be held on Monday, August 30, 1993 at 11 a.m., at St. Therese Catholic Church, 75 East Lennox, Midvale, Utah. Friends and family are invited to attend a viewing on Sunday, August 29, 1993, from 6 to 8 p.m. at St. Therese Catholic Church, with recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:30 p.m. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates, Monday, August 30, 1993.
