===========================================
Alice and her twin sister Esther were the babies of the family and experienced great loss when her father was killed in the Red Canyon mine #5 explosion, in 1895.
This mining disaster took the lives of over 61 men. Two others killed that day were her Dad's brothers. So this extended family was hard hit.
It looks as though she could throw a stone in any direction, and if it did not land on an Aunt-Uncle-cousin-or Grandparents feet, it would sure land on an Aunt-Uncle-Cousin or Grandparent of her future husband's family. At one point the Lester and Hutchinson-Bell families lived right next door to each other. Her Mother remarried a James Bell and she was the big sister to many more children. Frances was one of these sisters, Alice, Esther and Frances all married Lester brothers.
.I can not but smile when I imagine what one of their get together's would have been like.
After her marriage to William, her losses did not slow. They lost seven of their fourteen children at birth or as infants.
At some point William and Alice moved from the Family nest of Uinta County Wyoming, to Weber county Utah. It was here in 1937 that Alice lost her life to Addison's Disease. She was 42.
Maybe that was why they left Uinta. Alice's Death Certificate says she contracted the disease in Uinta, Wyoming.
William died tragically in 1938, when a tractor crushed his head in a farming accident.
