McKINLEY
Jessie Cobb McKinley, daughter of Samuel and Sarah Cobb, was born April 15, 1888 and departed this life March 1, at the Lucas County Memorial Hospital in Chariton, at the age of 89 years, 10 months and 15 days.
On September 16, 1908 she united in marriage with Clyde McKinley and four sons came to bless this home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde; her parents, and four sons, Homer, Richard, George and Rex; one grandson,Clyde; one sister, Bessie Esham, three brothers, Jack, Riley and Gene.
She is survived by four grandchildren; Marilyn Owens, Ottumwa, Patty Bishop, Ballwin, Mo., Paul McKinley, Corydon, and Rick McKinley, Russell; six great-grandchildren; Brenda and Kim Bishop, Jeff McKinley, Steve, Doug and Chris Owens; two daughters-in-law, Meda McKinley and Louise McKinley, both of Russell; and one sister, Jennie Calvin, Russell; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Mar. 4, at the Fielding Funeral Home, with the Rev. Wauneita McConnell officiating. Burial was in the Russell Cemetery.
