Died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. R. W. Wall in Wellford, SC yesterday morning following several years of declining health and a week of serious illness. Wife of Henry Pinkney Wheeler and a native of Spartaburg County, SC. Daughter of Capt. Peyton and Elizabeth Caroline Goodlett Ballenger and a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Wellford, SC. Survivors included, five daughters; Mrs. Mabel Wheeler Caldwell, Mrs. L. H. Layne, Mrs. W. O. Benson, Mrs. R. W. Wall, Mrs. John L. Martin, one son; Dr. Harold P. Wheeler, two sisters; Mrs. Lula Foster and Mrs. J. D. Lanford, nine grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Interment was in the Campobello Baptist Church Cemetery. She was 79 years of age at her demise.
