Missouri death certificate # 34778 female, white, she died of apoplexy, hypertension and old age. Lived in the community 5 years, stay in hospital or institution, 5 years. Father Samuel Huffman of North Carolina, and his mother was Henrietta [Payne] Huffman of North Carolina also. Mrs. G T Harper was the informant and lived at the same address Mary did on South Holland, Springfield, MO. Widow her husband at A T Young.

Mrs. Mary C Young, 90 died at 11:30 o'clock last night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. G T Harper _____ Holland after a short illness. She had suffered a stroke last Monday morning.
Born in Hickory county she moved to Galloway county with her parents while yet a child. She was married to A T Young and lived in Galloway county until about 35 years ago when she came to Greene county to live. Since the death of her husband 10 years ago, she had been making her home with Mrs. Harper. She was a member of the Elwood Methodist Church.
Survivors are five daughters, Mrs. Anna Davidson, Mrs. Harper, Mrs. Mack Renner and Mrs Frank Harper of CA. Three sons, Sexton, Ernest and Cecil. 2 sisters, Mrs. Laura Byncoe and Mrs Annie Que?eirnous, 17 grandchildren. Funeral services will be in Thieme Chapel at 3 o'clock tomorrow afternoon with the Rev. E D Baker officiating.
