In the 1880 census, William and Hollis are in the household of Catherine Shafer (Shaper). In addition two daughters are listed, Ana Mary, age 8, and Carrie E, age 4. Hollis at age 11 is living with Guy M. Shapper and Catherine Shapper age 33 in the 1870 census in Horseheads, Chemung County, NY. William is living in the household of Henry Argetsinger.
