Peal had been a seamstress with the Hampstead Sewing Factory. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Hampstead and the ladies auxiliary of Westminster Chapter 897, Women of the Moose.
She was the wife of Theron Earl Sanders, who died in 1976, and surviving are daughters, Bonnie L. Fringer of Union Bridge, MD, Barbara Haines of Hanover, and Carolyn Leech of Bendersville; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by brothers, Clarence, Curtis, Gilbert, Samuel, Myerl, John and Walter Calp; a sister, Mary Hare; and a grandson, Randy Coppersmith.
