Funeral for Christine "Duka" Bankston, 88, of Hillsboro will be Monday, July 6, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Reynolds Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jan Turnbore officiating.
Burial will be in Decatur City Cemetery, Sterrs division, with Reynolds Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Bankston died Wednesday, July 1, 2009.
She leaves to cherish her memory one son, Douglas Bankston of Cleveland, Ohio; one daughter, Myrle (Charles) Smith of Hillsboro; a very special brother, Kirk "Big Boy" Bankston of Hillsboro; one sister, Naomi Ashford of Los Angeles, Calif.; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
