Harriett Susan Jones, 83, died Friday, January 1, 1982 at her home in Lovell after an extended illness. She was born November 13, 1898 in Ranch, Kane Co., Utah. She came to the Big Horn Basin as a child and has spent the past 75 years here. She has made her home in Lovell for the past 45 years.
She married Oren Dudley Jones on June 7, 1919 in Cody, Wyoming. Mr. Jones died January 30, 1970.
Survivors include three sons, Orin Ted Jones of Glendale, California, Max W. Jones of Lovell, and Woodford W. Jones of Bountiful, Utah; three daughters, Norma Turner of Salt Lake City, Utah, Ruby Marie Hansen of Concord, California, and Harriett Ann Paris of Worland, Wyoming; two brothers, Rollo Wilkerson of Long Beach, California and John S. Wilkerson of Lovell; one sister, Ruby Jones of Lovell; 20 grandchildren, and 29 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 5, 1982 in the Lovell, Wyoming Stake L.D.S. Chapel with Bishop William Powell officiating. Burial will be in the Lovell Cemetery. Haskell Funeral Home of Lovell is in charge of arrangements.
