Leland Hart, 80, of Lagrange, died Saturday, June 1, 1995 in Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne. He was born July 24, 1914 to Bert and Dora (Large) Hart. He was retired from the Pennsylvania Railroad and was a member of the American Legion Post 215, Lagrange. He married Jeanne E. Cook on July 4, 1972 in Lagrange. She proceeded him in death on February 18, 1989. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. John "Bud" (Nancy) Hopper of Lagrange and Mrs. Diane Hart, Rome City; one sister (twin) Mrs. Lela Stanner, Lagrange; 14 grandchildren and 17 gr-grandchildren. The funeral was Monday at Carney-Frost Funeral Home in Lagrange, with the Rev. Carldean Merrifield officiating. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery. (From Lela Stanner's family history notes.)
