Anna B. Frohwerk
Jan. 9, 1914-April 2, 2005

Anna Belle Frohwerk, 91, of South Bend, Ind., passed away at 5:10p.m. Saturday, April 2, in her residence. She was born on Jan. 9, 1914, in LaPorte County, Ind. to the late Catharine (King) and Charles Kuss.
On April 15, 1931, in Wanatah, Ind., as Anna Belle Kuss, she married Arthur Frohwerk, who preceded her in death on Dec. 13, 1972. Mrs. Frohwerk was also preceded in death by a son, Robert Ray Frohwerk, who passed away on Nov. 19, 2001 and a sister, Margaret Williams, and by a brother, Ralph Kuss.
Mrs. Frohwerk is survived by two daughters, Joan (Timothy) Gallivan and Kim Anne Bowman, both of South Bend, five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren and two sisters, Elsie Jones of South Bend and Ruth Kalwitz of Sun City, Ariz.
Mrs. Frohwerk was a retired sales clerk and buyer for the J.C. Penney Company and was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, South Bend.
Services for Mrs. Frohwerk will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 5, in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, South Bend, where friends may call one hour prior to services. Re. Gregory Fleichtner, pastor to the church, will conduct the services. Burial will be at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, Ind. Welsheimer Family Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 51490 Laurel Road, South Bend, IN 46637 ot to the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill, 2101 Wilson Blvd. #302, Arlington, VA. 22201, or to donor's choice.
