Ida Hotelling is the daughter of William Jeston Hotelling and Harriet Torrey.
She lived in Iowa and Wisconsin, until 1897 when her parents and family relocated in Missouri.
Henry M. Redmon and Ida Hotelling were married December 7, 1907, at Ozark, Christian Co., Missouri. They reportedly had one child born/died 1909. Henry Redmon died about 1909.
Edwin Loran White and Ida Hotelling Redmon were married on April 24, 1910, in Greene Co., Missouri. No known children were born to this couple. Edwin died March 4, 1921, leaving Ida a widow once again.
Ida and James Alford were married and had twin sons born in 1923: Harold and Gerald, of Greene Co., Missouri.
Ida raised Roberta Hotelling (her niece) as her daughter after the death of Roberta's parents (her father died 1919 and her mother died 1927).
Ida passed away in Springfield MediCenter after a two-month illness.
