Her obituary: Mary Ball, wife of John Ball, died at her residence, two miles west of Blountsville, on last Sunday morning. Her remains were followed to the cemetery here by an unusually large procession. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. John Vardiman, assisted by Rev. Small. She was highly respected by all who knew her. She leaved a husband and six children to mourn their loss. The family has the deepest sympathy of a host of friends.
