Daughter of Elam Cheney and Martha Taylor. At age 16 she married William Edward Brady on 25 March 1885 in Logan, Utah. They had one son, William Wells Brady. Her husband died 6 months after her son was born.

Mehetable married John Anderson abt 1888 and they had five known children: Martha Birdell, James Elam, Flossie Mehetable, Mary Elizabeth and Hugh Cheney.

She passed away at the young age of 39.
