Deborah Broxson (who created this Memorial) quoted Ed Woody: "Edmund California Burnsed was my Grandmother's uncle. In the 1900 census he is 47 and lists his BD as Jan 1853. In the 1860 census he is 8 and 18 in the 1870. He married Elmira Schuman (who lived next door in the 1860 census but was not there in the 1870. They were married 30 Mar 1870. His BD should be changed to 2 Feb 1853. On the old tombstone the 3 can look like an 8. In the 1900 census My Grandmother Sally Burnsed Bell and her husband Daniel Mack were living 2 farms away when they first got married. The family story is they were given 100 acres by my Great Grandfather Nebuchadnezer Burnsed (E.C. brother) as a wedding gift as well as 100 acres to her sister Simi Burnsed Kelehar (Mike) who was married at the same time."
