Rulon Clyde Anderson was the son of Andrew and Martha Graham Anderson. He was born in Millville where he attended school and spent his early years. He learned the value of work on his father's farm.

Rulon and Florence Camper were married on September 9, 1928. She was the daughter of Harry William and Lydia Evalina Atkinston Camper and was born January 19, 1911, at Clarkston, Utah.

Rulon and Florence made their home in Millville and Logan before moving to Salt Lake City where Rulon was employed as a foreman at the Remington Arms Plant and as a driver for Lewis Brothers Stage Company.

Rulon and Florence were the parents of three sons: Rulon Clair, Andrew Gary, and Harry Varcell.

After Rulon's death, Florence married George Darst on July 8, 1947. Florence died August 31, 1976 and is buried in Clearfield, Davis County, Utah.
