He spent all of his life farming around Shickley except for about seven years when he retired but still continued to live on his farm, which was his home for 36 years.
February 7, 1910, he was married to Eda Volkmer. To this union were born 12 children, 10 daughters and two sons: Mrs. Charles Matejka of Geneva; Mrs. Leo Mengler, Mrs. Agnes Cavanaugh, Mrs. Tony Psota, all of Hastings, Neb.; Mrs. Donald Nicholson and Mrs. William Voss of Chicago; Mrs. Donald Smith, Mrs. Merle Lohmeier and Miss Barbara Reinsch, all of Lincoln; Miss Doris Reinsch, at home; Leonard J. Reinsch and Eugene Reinsch, at home.
Frank was a kind husband and a loving father and was respected by all who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife and 12 children ;five brothers, William and Johnof Shickley, Emil, Henry and Ernest of Geneva, and Herman of Denver; three sisters Mrs. John Grote of Shickley, Mrs. Ernest Volmer of Martland and Miss Caroline Reinsch of Denver; and a host of relatives and friends.
His parents, and two brothers, Charlie and Fred Reinsch; and one sister, Mrs. Anna Yaeger, preceded him in death.
He also leaves seven grandchildren to mourn his sudden death. They are Robert, Richard and Mary Ann Matejka, Ronald and Daniel Psota, Jane and Sandra Voss. His grandchildren were his pride and joy while he was living.
His body lay in state at the Hrubesky-Farmer Funeral Home in Geneva, where the rosary was recited Thursday and Friday evenings at 8 o'clock. Funeral services were held at St. Mary Catholic Church near Shickley at 9:30 Saturday, May 30, 1953, with Rev. John Kozlik in charge. Interment was at St. Mary Cemetery near Shickley.
Pallbearers were six nephews, Alfred Gergen, Herbert Reinsch, Kenneth Volkmer, Gerald Grote, Michael Reinsch and Richard Yaeger.
