Clyde Dean Berry, 66, of Boise, Idaho, died March 27, 2009 at the Boise Veteran's Affairs Medical Center. A graveside service was held March 31 at Canyon City Cemetery with Brother Wally Muzzy conducting the service.

Mr. Berry was born July 5, 1942 in Blackfoot, Idaho to Lloyd and Jennie (Chapman) Berry. He graduated from Clearwater High School in Kooskia, Idaho.

In October 1966 he began service as an AUS artillery specialist with the U.S. Army and was discharged in September 1968.

He spent most of his life doing mill work in a saw mill, retiring in 2004. He enjoyed riding ATVs, gold mining, hunting and camping. He also enjoyed photography, playing the guitar and spending time with family.

Survivors include his children, Barbara, Johnny and Danny; his brothers, Joe Berry of Mt. Vernon, Dennis Berry of Arroyo Grande, Calif. and Dick Berry of Baker City; his sister, Debra Moore of St. Regis, Mont.; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Jennie Berry; and four brothers, Roger Berry, Danny Berry, Jim Berry and Robert Berry.
