No information was available here up to a late hour last night on plans for funeral services for Roger W. Berry, 19-year-old Grant county Navy airman apprentice killed Monday at Hanford, Calif.
According to news reports emanating from the California city, the youth, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Berry, who reside between Dayville and Mt. Vernon, died of stab wounds apparently inflicted by a Hanford youth, not a member of the group of sailors who accompanied young Berry at the time of his death.
The Grant county sailor was stationed at Lemmore Naval Air Station in California.
