Gulfport - The funeral of Mrs. Alice Louvenia Bosarge will be conducted today at 10 a.m. at the Antioch Baptist Church in Long Beach, where visitors may call one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow in Allen Cemetery at Long Beach. Mrs. Bosarge, 92, a former resident of Port Arthur, Texas, and the Gulfport Coast, died Thursday in Cleveland, Texas. She was born in Harrison County and was the widow of Henry Silas Bosarge. Survivors include two sons, William H. Bosarge of Warren, Texas and Harold L. Bosarge of Port Arthur, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. Steven Dore of Cleveland, Texas, and Mrs. Stanley Lucas of Shreveport, La.; and several grandchildren, Riemann Funeral Home in Gulfport is in charge of arrangements.

"Aunt Lu", as she was known by all the Woodcock children, was a mother to most of the children of Edwin Sylvester and Aletha Johnson Woodcock.
