The funeral service for Mrs. Etta Woodcock Swain, 89, who died Monday, was held Wednesday afternoon at Reiman Funeral Home Chapel in Gulfport. The Rev QC Roberts, pastor of Handsboro United Methodist Church, and Chaplain Pauk Fry of the Biloxi Veterans Administration, officiated. Mrs. J. L. Head, organist, played the prelude, Beautiful Isle of Somewhere and Safe in the Arms of Jesus, and as postlude, How Great Thou Art.
Internment was in the Allen Cemetery in Long Beach. Pallbearers were: Buck Woodcock, Carl Woodcock, Arthur Trepagnier, Billy Jones, Harvey Swain and Billy Swain.
