LATTA - Mrs. S. M. Campbell died at her home near Latta, March 14 after a brief illness. Her death, though not unexpected, cast sorrow over a host of friends and relatives.
Mrs. Campbell was loved by everyone who knew her. She was a pure Christian woman.
Interment was made in the family plot at Ebenezer Methodist Church.
Mrs. Campbell was born in 1873, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. S. A. Berry of Latta.
She is survived by her husband and the following children, J. C. and Heyward of Whiteville, N.C., Newton, S. A., Charlie, Luther, Cora Mae, Nellie and Mrs. N. T. Rogers of Latta.
