Ollie Jane Anderson married Henry Virgil Ireton in Oklahoma, sometime between 1909-1910. She is found as a widow, living with her 2 sons Henry and Hap in the 1930 census.
At one time, I believe my mother said Ollie went by "Alice". I checked her grave marker the last time I was in Austin and her name is listed as "Ollie J." on the niche at the mausoleum. I don't know where she died, but I do know her son, Hap, had her ashes in his home until his death. My mother had Ollie's ashes put in a niche next to her son, Hap when he died in 1965. My mother's ashes are also there.
I have Ollie's old school bell she would ring for classes to begin. I also have some handmade quilts by Ollie.
