Robert, age 64, died Tuesday, June 24, 2008, at the Riverside Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
He was born April 12, 1944, in San Diego, California, the son of Sosimo and Beatrice (Ramirez) Aparis. Formerly of San Diego, he moved to Marion, Ohio after retiring from civil service at the Naval Air Station, North Island, where he worked for 33 years. While living in San Diego, Robert enjoyed coaching girls' soccer in the Mira Mesa area for 14 years. He was also actively involved in his church youth group and loved riding his bike and walking his dog!
He is survived by his wife Paula; two daughters, Lara and Stefanie; his mother; two brothers, Sosimo Jr. and Dan Aparis; two sisters, Shirley Alvarez and Mary Lange; and a grandson Nicholas.
Robert, an Army veteran, will be interred at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery.
