MRS. SALLIE TIBBS

Mrs. Frank M. Tibbs, 84, died Saturday at the Lenoir Memorial Home. She was the wife of the late Rev. Frank Tibbs who had served as interim minister for several churches in Boone County.

Mrs. Tibbs, the former Sallie Belle Critchfield, was born at Canton, Sept. 12, 1889, to Thomas Fred and Caroline Rost Critchfield. On Dec. 26, 1911, she as married to Mr. Tibbs at Hannibal.

Mrs. Tibbs as active in Easter Star-North Bend and Elwood, Neb. In Columbia, she as a member of the Christian Church and participated in Christian Women's Fellowship.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. T.F. Doyle, Wichita; three sons, Paul E. Tibbs, Sunset Trailer Court, Walter M. Tibbs, Buffalo; Oliver P. Tibbs, Gardena, Calif.; a brother, Comdr. Clint Critchfield, St. Genevieve; 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Services for Mrs. Tibbs will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in Parkers Chapel by Rev. John E. Foster of Centralia. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may call at Parker's Chapel until time for burial.
