MRS. MARTHA J. MARX
An Esteemed and Aged Resident, Died Last Night of Heart Trouble
Mrs. Martha J. Marx, widow of the late John W. Marx, died at her home on west Main street of heart trouble on 9:15 o'clock last night, aged 69 years. Mrs. Marx lived in Madison all her life and was loved and respected by all who knew her and the announcement of her demise will cause sorrow among a wide circle of friends and relatives.
Mrs. Marx is survived by six children, Mrs. Maud Hoefling, Mrs. Stella Fisher and William Marx, of this city, Mrs. Nettie Faulkner, of Indianapolis, Mrs. Emma Gray, of Marion, and Mrs. Mattie White, of Piqua, Ohio. She also leaves one brother, Mr. Omar Ball, fifteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
