Set Vail Rites
For Tuesday P.M.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon, at 2:30 in the Assembly of God Church in Holdenville for Isaac O. Vail, 68, pioneer of Hughes County, who died Sunday morning at 12:20 in his home, (at) North Kelker (street), of heart trouble. Mr. Vail had been in ill health for the past two years.

The Rev. W. Lowder, pastor of the Assembly of God Church, here, will officiate at the services and will be assisted by the Rev. Cecil Mc Kensie of Ada.

The Mackey Funeral home will have charge of arrangements.

Mr. Vail, who was born in Portland, Indiana, June 1875 was raised in Sullivan, Indiana and later was employed in the lead and zinc mines in Joplin, Missouri. He moved to Holdenville in 1914 and had lived in Hughes County since then.He retired about two years ago, due to ill health, until then he had been a stockman and farmer.

Mr. Vail was a member of the Free Will Baptist in the (please turn to page 4, column 3)Jackson Community and was an active member of the church until he moved into Holdenville shortly after he retired.

His survivors are his wife, of the home address: his sons, Luther and Leonard of Holdenville, Paul of El Paso, and Ralph, USCO, who has not been notified due to the fact that his location is not known , and one daughter, Miss Lillian Vail of El Paso. he also leaves 18 grandchildren.

Bearers for the services will be E.J. Wilson, Dewey Bankston, Comer Bowen, Frank Kyser, Andrew Huckabee and E.V. Crumm.
