Mr. Spicer was employed as a tool maker for the Budd Co., in Detroit for over 22 years, retiring in 1981. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Clinton Twnsp., where he served as an usher, was a member of the Golden Years Senior Citizens Club and a member of the LFA. He enjoyed playing his guitar.
His survivors include wife Beaulah, mother Manilla Spicer of New Lexington Ohio, daughter Beverly (Leroy) Harm of Clinton Twp., son Wm. Spicer of Mt. Clemens, two brothers, Floyd (Wanda) Spicer of New Lexington, Ohio, Clyde Spicer (Barbara) of Zanesville, Ohio, two sisters, Helen (Rollo) Kuse, of Clinton Twnsp., Eva (James) Nutter, of New Straitsville, Ohio, and two granddaughters, Deborah Hanson and Shelly Harm. He was preceded in death by a sister, Eunice (Wm.) Walker.
