Parents were Walter Eli Hess and Maggie Carola Thomas. Married Nov. 6, 1946 in Merced, Merced County, California, to Glenn Monroe "Red" Mullins. They had seven children: Glenn Loyd, Nancy Carola, Patricia "Pattie" Marie, Walter Joe, Mary Jane, David Clay, and Michael Wayne. Sis was a salvage operator working at the Ridgecrest Sanitary Landfill, when she was buried in refuse by the huge bulldozer working at the site. Burial at the Cemetery was Feb. 11, 1980.
