Funeral services for Geneva Everett, 71, of Forsyth, at Forsyth Whelchel Funeral Chapel Vocalist will be Sharon Robinson. Burial at Ragsdale Cemetery in Forsyth.
She died July 4, 2009, at her daughter's residence.
She was born June 8, 1938, in Chadwick, daughter of Thomas Newton and Fairy Geneva Cobb. In 1965, she married Emerson Edger Everett in Forsyth. She was a member of the Central Taney County Firefighters Auxiliary for five years and worked for Hagale Industries for over 20 years in Forsyth and Ozark.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Emerson Edger Everett; son, Terry Clair; and daughter, Connie Walker.
Survivors include daughters, Chris Sanderson, and husband, Bob, of Kissee Mills, and Patty Wayland, and husband, Larry, of Columbia; four step-children; siblings, Tom Cobb, of Cabot, Ark., Ruby Melton, of Sparta, Jearl Cobb, of Springfield, Ronnie Cobb, of Hollister, Dwight Cobb, of Bruner, and Sharon Wyman, of Kissee Mills; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
