Services for Alvera Merrill Baker, 47, who died Jan. 14 were held Saturday at 4p.m. at the LDS church in Lower Miami, with Bishop Kenneth Beedle officiating. Burial was in the Pinal Cemetery.
Mrs. Baker, a member of the Royal Neighbors Lodge, was employed by the Miami Commercial Company. She had lived in Gila County for the past 21 years.
Survivors are her husband, Van Baker of Globe; two sons, one daughter; her mother of Claypool; five brothers, Taylor McNair of Claypool, George Walter and Joe McNair, all of MIami, and Henry McNair of Phoenix; two sisters, Mrs. Letitia Strickland, Claypool and Mrs. Elizabeth Marrs of Country Club Manor. Also three stepsons.
Miles Mortuary was in charge of the arrangements.
