Clifford Banks died on Sunday July 5, 2009. He was 66 years old. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Banks, one daughter and two sons, Kristy D. Dozier and her husband Pedro, Clifford P. Banks Jr. and his wife Tammy, and James W. Banks and his wife Tammy. His grandchildren consists of Amanda Banks, Clifford J. Banks, Savanna Banks, Dominique Smith, and Amarion Smith.
Clifford was a veteran of the United States Army where he served on many tours during the Vietnam conflict and retired in 1981 as a Sgt First Class. He was a member of Botsford Baptist Church and the South Haven Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Augusta Technical College where he studied heating and air conditioning. He was employed by DeLoach Funeral Home for 30+ years.
Clifford past away after suffering a heart attack late Sunday afternoon. He was cremated and his ashes were buried on his mother's grave.
