Another of Ackerman's oldest citizens passed to his reward last Sunday morning when Mr. Henry C. Sides breathed his last and his soul went back to the God that gave it. He had been a citizen of Ackerman practically all his life and was about 74 years of age when the Grim Reaper called for him. Several years ago he suffered an attack of Smallpox, which sapped vitality and left him almost blind and from which he never fully recovered.

He leaves a widow and one brother, J. B F. Sides, besides other relatives to mourn their loss. The funeral took place at Enon Cemetery Monday afternoon, services being conducted by Dr. S. L. Morris. To the sorrowing ones we extend our deepest sympathy.
