Henry Dirks, of St. Augusta, passes away at the advanced age of 72.
Henry Dirks, aged 72, one of the old and respected citizens of St. Augusta, passed away at his home Friday morning at six o'clock, having succumbed to an attack of pneumonia. A wife and four children survive him. They are Mrs. Mary Witschen, Mrs. Lucy(Actually Mary Elizabeth) Henkemeyer and Theodore and Bernard. Mrs. James Sullivan, of St. Cloud is a sister. The funeral will take place Monday morning at nine o'clock. Mr. Dirks was one of the pioneer residents of St. Augusta or more properly speaking the Township of Lynden as his homestead is really in that township.
