Lucy Lewis Goff Gum was born 28 Feb 1811 in Green County, KY. She married first, Lewis Goff on 22 September 1830 in Green County. She moved with some of her children to Menard County, IL where she married second, Jesse Gum, Sr. on 8 September 1859. After his passing, she moved to Mt. Zion, Macon County, Illinois where she purchased a farm. Lucy died on 18 February 1881.
