He had a twin brother, Joseph who died in 1918. In the book, Mercer County Pioneer Traces, it lists both Joseph and David as being born Aug 14, 1891 and David dying Jan 6, 1895. However, Davids stone clearly reads that he died in 1892. Also, if he had been born in 1891, there wouldn't have been "yr" on the stone as David would only have been 5 months old. If he was born in 1890 or 1891, and died in 1895, it would read he would have been 3 or 4, respectively. I didn't see 3 or 4 on the stone. It looks like a 1 to me. So, I believe David was born Aug 14, 1890 and died Jan 6, 1892.
