'Mrs. Julia Parks died at her home with her son, Charley on the northwest corner of Canal and Comstock streets at an early hour this morning. She had been a sufferer of heart trouble for several months. They came to Wabash county in 1856 and located near Urbana, where they resided until the death of her husband, Courtney, about thirty-one years ago. Mrs. Parks then moved her family to this city. Mrs. Parks was the mother of thirteen children, seven of whom preceded her in death. She has six living, five sons and one daughter, and all of these live here excepting Samuel, who resides at Fort Wayne. Benjamin makes his home here, but at present is employed with the Andrews Paving company at Sandusky, Ohio. Mrs. Parks united with the United Brethren church at Urbana while she resided at that place and has remained a member of that church ever since. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the residence, corner of Comstock and Canal streets. Rev. Dr. Charles Little, of the Presbyterian church, will officiate.  Interment will be in Half Acre cemetery.'
