BOUNTIFUL~Wilma Carrie Osborne Hammer, 86, passed away Dec. 10, 1999 in Bountiful.

She was born Jan. 12, 1913 in Ashton, ID, to George H. and Hannah C. Nielson Osborne. Wilma married Louis D. Hammer on July 21, 1933 in Brigham City, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Louis preceded her in death on June 9, 1967. She was an active member of the Bountiful LDS 58th Ward. She was involved in genealogy and was a member of the D.U.P.

Wilma is survived by her sons, Delone (Joyce) Hammer, Sunset; Keith (Vonda) Hammer, Bountiful; Odell Hammer, Salt Lake; Willard (Sheila) Hammer, Farmington; and Charles (Heidi) Hammer, Woods Cross; her daughter, Sharon (Don) Hellier, Sandy; and daughter-in-law, Janice Hammer, Hamilton, MT; brother, Roy Osborne, Clearfield; and sister, Alta Young, Layton; 23 grandchildren and 48 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; her son, Dennis; and grandson, Jim.

Wilma was everyone's grandma. She loved her family and enjoyed having company. She loved to go places with her family. Mom will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 14, 1999 at 2 p.m. in the Bountiful 58th Ward Chapel, 200 N. 200 West. Friends and family may call Monday, Dec. 13 at Lindquist's Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 East, from 6-8 p.m. and on Tuesday from 12:45-1:45 p.m. at the 58th Ward LDS Chapel. Interment in the Bountiful Cemetery. Wilma's family wishes to thank Dr. Kevin N. Clark and Lakeview Hospital staff for their care.
