Funeral services were held at Belle Fourche, South Dakota, Tuesday for Mrs. Mary S. Clark, who died suddenly at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. E. Bruer in Crawford, Nebr., at the Frost & Son Funeral Home. Rev. Robert Vessey officiated and burial was in the Pineslope Cemetery.
Mrs. Clark was born June 28, 1870 in Cameron, Missouri, where she spent her childhood. She was married to E. J. LeSueur in Crawford, March 8th, 1892. The family spent five years in Crawford, five years at Medora, N. Dak., and then moved to South Dakota, locating near Minnesela.
Mr. LeSueur died on July 17, 1910. In 1916, Mrs. LeSueur was married to Benjamin F. Clark, who preceded her in death in June, 1936. She continued to live at the ranch near Belle Fourche and for the past eight years she has spent the winters with her daughter in this city, returning to the ranch for the summer. Mrs. Clark made a number of friends while residing in this city, who were shocked and saddened to learn of her death.
Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Virgie Bruer of this city; a son Ward LeSueur of Belle Bourche, S.D.; three stepchildren, Clara Thayer Cole of Nabton, Wash.; Carl LeSueur of Fort Pierre and Dr. Wert LeSueur of Rapid City, S. Dak.; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Those from out of town attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Bruer, Gene Mason and Mrs. Norma Murphy, all of Crawford; a granddaughter, Mrs. Virginia Murphy of Amarillo, Texas; Dr. Wert LeSueur, daughter, Mrs. Emma Jacobsen and daughter, Lucy LeSueur all of Rapid City, S.D., Mr. and Mrs. Enoch Karen of Fruitdale, South Dakota.

Mary and Benjamin Clark are both in the LeSueur plot. Do not know why the B initial on Mary's stone, no other records found with Mary using that initial.
