HAZLEHURST — Services for James E. Andrews, 72, of Bradenton, Fla. who died Tuesday night in a Bradenton, Fla. hospital, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Excelsior Methodist Church.

The Rev. Bob Chavis will officiate with burial in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery near Hazlehurst.

Mr. Andrews was a native of Jeff Davis County and had resided in Bradenton for a number of years. A retired carpenter, he was a member of Excelsior Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Minnie Hadden Andrews of Bradenton; five sons, Leo Andrews of Ashburn, Odas Andrews of Hoboken, Dr. E.J. Andrews, Jim Andrews, both of Bradenton, and Gene Andrews of Dothan, Ala.; two daughters, Mrs. Lois Trace of Miami, Fla. and Mrs. Linda Williams of West Palm Beach, Fla.; six sisters, Mrs. G.L. Williams and Mrs. L.L. Horne, both of Hazlehurst, Mrs. W.G. Allen and Mrs. Walter Mahoney, both of Brunswick, Mrs. S.T. Harrison of Norfolk, Va., and Mrs. C.A. Morrison of Alamo; three brothers, J.D., S.G. and Harvey, all of Brunswick.

The body will lie in state at Thomas-Wainwright Funeral Home until time for the funeral.
