She married 2nd to William G. Allen. He was manager at Ramsey's Barber Shop located on Reynolds St. in Brunswick, Georgia.

The following note is reprinted from Ancestry.com.

Aunt Maggie was married, first, to Artemus Howe. They had one son, A. M. After Artemus died she then married a Mr. Miles. A. M. (the son) suddenly died when he was about 13 years old. The only thing Carlton Morrison remembers about him is his funeral. As told to Carlton Morrison by James Harrison, family members suspected Mr. Miles poisoned A. M. Many times Bessie Andrews Morrison told her granddaughter Elizabeth Morrison Burch that Mr. Miles refused to allow a blood test to determine the cause of death. If they did the blood test, he would not pay for it. Bessie said that the blood test was quite expensive, so they did not do it. She too suspected that Mr. Miles poisoned the child. James Harrison told Carlton Andrews that, later, Aunt Maggie woke up one night smelling chloroform--that is when she left Mr. Miles. Bessie Morrison also told her granddaughter Elizabeth this same story. He had a newsstand on Newcastle Street which Aunt Maggie got after they separated and ran during the 1930s until after WWII. It was a right profitable business during the war. That's where people bought newspapers and magazines in those days. Maybe the newsstand was Aunt Maggie's, not Mr. Miles. Anyway it was called Miles Newsstand and she continued to be Maggie Miles until she married Will Allen. He was a barber. Howe, A.M, and Aunt Maggie are all buried at what used to be called Byrd Church near Snipesville--it's now Mount Pleasant Baptist Church...
